Media Conversion Service

We recommend digitizing your precious media soon!

We will propose media conversion and archiving solutions tailored to future storage and operational plans for various media, such as film, tapes, and audio media, that have been stored for an extended period.

In recent times, there has been a noticeable increase in cases where valuable audiovisual materials have become unplayable due to the deterioration of storage media. Additionally, many media formats are becoming difficult to view due to a shortage of playback equipment. Furthermore, with the termination of manufacturer support for all VTR decks in 2023, decks in good condition will undoubtedly become scarce in the coming years.

Currently, we have all kinds of playback equipment, and we can play back old analog media as well as digital tapes such as HDCAM. By converting them into "digital assets," many valuable materials created in the past (video works, video materials, audio recordings, recorded materials, etc.) can be passed on to future generations.

Before it's too late, please check the media you have and contact us.

Problems with Low-Cost dubbing companies

In recent years, not only in businesses but also in households, adhesion and mold are frequently observed on video tapes that are stored.

However, some companies offering dubbing services at a cost of a few hundred yen per tape immediately insert the tape into an entirely automatic deck for playback without checking for mold or adhesion.

As a result, there have been numerous cases where individuals, unaware of the tape's adhesion, cut the tape, rendering precious memories unviewable.

Many customers bring such tapes to our company as a last resort. However, since there is often unseen mold or adhesion on video tapes that have not been played for over 10 years, we strongly recommend against attempting to play them yourself or opting for dubbing services from inexpensive providers.

In our company, to minimize tape damage as much as possible, we carefully conduct heat treatment and cleaning before proceeding with the digitization process.
